Spice up your toast with these combinations!

#1 Avocado & egg

First on the list is a classic that I´m sure many of you are familiar with! To achieve the best boiled egg, place the egg in the pot only when the water is boiling and set a timer on your phone for 6 min. To give the avocado a little kick, mash it in a bowl with a drizzle of lemon, 1 tsp, extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper (don´t do this on the bread).

  • Avocado

  • Boiled egg

  • Salt & pepper for taste

#2 Avocado, spinach & mushrooms

This combo is a bit more daring but may just cause your taste buds to do backflips. Who said vegetables on bread are a no go! This toast combo plays with sweet and savoury.

  • Avocado

  • Sautéd mushrooms

  • Sautéd baby spinach

  • Drizzle of balsamic glaze

  • Salt & pepper for taste

#3 Fruit & nut butter

We all know melted nut butter on a hot slice of toast is already mouth watering but adding something sweet like a thin slice of fruit can take your lunch to the next level. Instead of eating each separately, why not pair your fruit and boring peanut butter sandwich to make a delicious combo!

  • Thinly sliced peach, nectarine or apple

  • Nut butter of choice (e.g. almond or unsweetened peanut butter)

  • Drizzle of honey

  • Sprinkle of cinnamon

#4 Cherry tomato, sprouts & cottage cheese

Perfectly balanced with protein, carbs, fat and enhanced with micronutrients, this is a great lunch time meal or snack to keep you bright-eyed and bushy-tailed throughout the day!

  • 4 cherry tomatoes (sliced in half)

  • Fresh sprouts (e.g. mungbeans, alfalfa, broccoli...)

  • Plain cottage cheese

  • Drizzle of olive oil

  • Salt & pepper to taste
